enough coffee beans for 20 cups of coffee. By roasting your own
coffee you pay much less for green coffee beans. The Caffe Rosto
recycles the hot air in the CR-120 so the energy efficient
design allows you to roast for just pennies per roast. The
recycled air also results in a slightly smokier flavor, closer
to that of a drum roaster.

Characteristics
of the Caffe Rosto: adjusting the batch size will vary the
roasting times. Smaller batches will roast quicker, resulting in
a brighter flavor similar to the Hearthware. Larger batch sizes
roast slower, resulting in a fuller bodied mellower roast
similar to the Alpenrost. Advertised capacity is 6 oz by volume
(which is less than 6 oz by weight), making this a middle
capacity home roaster. BrightWay does claim that under certain
circumstances, you can roast up to 8 oz by volume. Varying batch
size and time can vary the flavor - good for those who like to
experiment.
